Sally Gordon began her dog training career in 2005 while working at Cocoa Veterinary Hospital. As a volunteer over the years, she has taught a variety of classes at Brevard Dog Training Club and Canine Star Training Academy. Sally has worked with a multitude of different dog breeds, training them in obedience, rally, agility and tricks. Currently as the owner and trainer of ABC Dog Training, Sally specializes in dogs with anxiety and fear issues. She teaches obedience and agility in group classes as well as offering private lessons. 

Sally is married with one son, three border collies and lots of chickens. She understands the importance of a well behaved, well rounded and happy dog that can live in comfort in your home and society.  She currently competes with her border collies Fli and Bee in obedience, tricks, AKC Fast Cat and Agility.

But more than that she’s friendly, gentle, and passionate about animals and in turn, the animals love her which makes it so easy to learn from her! Sally came and worked with my problem child today and by the end of the class my high anxiety dog was much more comfortable. Sally saved our sanity! We love our Haylee but she was a terror at times. Just one lesson in and I could see MAJOR changes in her behavior. It was really just common sense but I needed Sally to break it down for me. She puts it into language and bite size servings that are not only understandable but do-able... We still have some work to do but I now have a dog that thinks and listens and watches. And even more than that . . . she has an owner who thinks and listens and watches! Thank you Sally!!! We'll be back for group lessons! And maybe agility! Haylee loves going to Miss Sally's!

I highly recommend Sally! I’ve been taking my dog to her for about 2 years now. It started with basic obedience as a puppy and now we continue with agility. We mostly do private lessons but occasionally go to group training. It has been a lot of fun and an excellent way to bond with my dog and learn better teamwork between the two of us. My dog really loves her too and I couldn’t speak higher praises of her! Whatever stages of training you require with your dog, she should be at the top of your list to call!
