Positive dog training is about establishing a communication system between you and your dog. By using the principles of positive operant conditioning and classical conditioning, we teach you to shift your focus from punishing your dog when they misbehave, to rewarding your dog for what they do right by using praise, food, toys or anything that your dog may love. By ignoring, managing, preventing and/or redirecting the wrong, undesirable behaviors, your dog will learn to make right, more desirable choices. Not only is positive reinforcement more effective than punishment, it allows for a more enjoyable and fun training experience for both you and your dog.
